Detailed route descriptions and clear mapping

All walking routes are described in great detail in our guidebooks. Written by our authors as they walk the trails, the route descriptions are packed with all the necessary information for navigation, identifying points of interest and local flora.

Our maps are drawn especially for walkers. The walking route is marked on the map along with other footpaths, contours, wooded areas, plus a myriad of natural and man-made features. All this helps you to keep you on the right trail.

Both the route descriptions and maps feature waypoints that enable you to quickly cross-reference locations between the two and rapidly pinpoint your location. These waypoints might highlight things to look out for or important trail junctions.
